Rudradeva's Paintings
Rudradeva says: Title of this painting, "Prabhupada's intense singing" is important because without noticing microphone at bottom of frame, many will conclude that Srila Prabhupada is very sad here. But the actual fact is that the spiritual master is totally absorbed in chanting these beautiful Vedic hymns to his spiritual master and Krsna, and so his eyes are closed in ecstatic meditation. This was an enjoyable painting for me to make, as it absorbed me in the process of capturing all the subtle nuances of Srila Prabhupada's facial expressions, as he concentrates deeply on his playing and singing, pouring out his heart and soul into the bhajan.
