Rudradeva's Paintings
Prabhupadadesh temple, Albettone (near Vicenza), Italy
1995
I enjoyed painting this ceiling mural very much, as it was constant meditation on my spiritual master, and afforded me ample opportunity to concentrate on illustrating and producing his many transcendental qualities, through the medium of my oil paints. Along with the temple president, Guru-caran das, we decided to feature Srila Prabhupada in 8 separate activities, divided by an ornamental...
Villaggio Hare Krsna temple room, , outside of Milan, Italy
2010-2014
This large ceiling mural, comprised of 56 wooden panels, each approximately 200cm X 150cm X 1cm, has been my most ambitious painting project to date. It also took the longest amount of time to complete, around 5 years. The book's size will measure 2 meters wide X 2.8 meters high. The monumental project of bringing the epic Vedic...
Rukmini-Dwarakadish Temple, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A

Krsna/cow motif was copied from an Indian print, I think. These paints are bright and durable, and can last for many years. I wonder if Govinda's awning is still...
