Rudradeva's Paintings
Rudradeva says: This is a very beautiful pose and expression. I identified it as "majestic head tilt" because even though some famous leaders and kings could be described as being "regal" or of "royal blood", not all of them possess an authentic regal or majestic demeanor. But Srila Prabhupada always had the look and demeanor of an aristocratic Indian gentleman. When he walked, he carried himself in such a manner, holding his head high in this aristocratic pose and angle, setting him apart from ordinary men. But anyone seeing this majestic or regal pose of Srila Prabhupada, can understand that it is never contrived, but completely natural for a saintly person like him. As I was making this portrait, I was taking care to portray this special majesty, and, as best I could, to capture all the nuances of his serene and magnanimous kind mood.
